“Institute for Political and Military Analysis” (IPMA) is a multidisciplinary organization. It’s fields of activities are studies, analysis, forecasts and expertise of tasks of geopolitics, history, military sciences, psychology, sociology and consulting.

The first projects of IPMA dealt with informational and analytical support of Yeltsin’s nomination for presidential chair as well as generalization and analysis of information about political situation in Russian regions.

Main fields of activity are:

• Scientific and practical researches in the field of geopolitics, history, political sciences, sociology and psychology
• Monitoring and forecasts of social, economic and political situation in the Russian regions, NIS countries and the whole world
• Elaboration of suggestions concerning questions of external policy, recommendations to military reform and reform of Russian Military Forces
• System-defined expertise and consulting for election campaigns
• PR-supplying of projects in the field of policy, sociology and economy.

Many of our employees have practical experience of working in state structures and Military Forces. Seven Doctors and 23 candidates of sciences, winners of Russian and international prizes in the field of natural and humanitarian sciences, students honored with Russian and foreign grants are among them.

The organizational structure of IPMA includes the Director, his deputies, administrative department, the counsel, financial department, mass media service, editorial department, personnel department as well as scientific, analytical and expert departments.

Within the structure of IPMA 6 Centres:

• Centre for psychological researches
• Centre for military and political forecasts
• Centre for investigations in the field of security tasks
• Centre for native history and Russian emigrants.

and 5 specialized departments are working:

• Department for information and analytics
• Department for practical policy
• Department for military and historical researches
• Department for international relations
• Department for sociological researches.

Now the scientific, analytical and expert departments

• Carry on researches in the fields of history, political sciences, sociology and psychology
• Analyze the tasks of international relations
• Conduct the information monitoring, analyze the internal and external political situation as well as make respective forecasts
• Offer all arts of related consulting
• Carry out works concerning PR-technologies and situation analysis
• Develop projects on creation, evolution and functioning of mass media.

The Institute for Political and Military Analysis had already executed a great number of works in favor of State Security Service of Russian Federation (RF), State Parliament, Ministry for Science, Industry and Technologies of RF, Academy of Military Sciences as well as scientific-research bodies (State Foundation for Support of Progressive Technologies and Space Researches, Centre for practical social, political and economic researches) and the number of public organizations and commercial companies. The IPMA has obtained one of the grants in the field of humanitarian sciences.

The IPMA disposes it’s own library, virtual shop for scientific and other editions, information databases on Russian emigrants as well as social and political situation in Russian regions, publishes monographs, collections and brochures. The personnel of the IPMA make regular reports in analog and electronic mass media.
